Purchased for NZ$110,000 (PLUS GST),at the recent NZ PREMIER YEARLING SALES this cracking colt ticks ALL the boxes on type and pedigree to suggest that he will be a future winner for UNITED SYNDICATIONS when he comes over to Australia later in the year. Purchased with the express purpose of staying, this colt has all the blood lines and is from a stallion renound for toughness and strength that will excel at 1600-2000 meters. He will be broken in,pre-trained and agisted in NZ to take advantage of the NZ grass before coming over later in the year to come under the care of our syndicate trainer MICK PRICE. His pedigree is outstanding as evidenced by his GROUP 1 Winning sire in O’REILLY who from only 6 starts was the winner of 4 races including two GROUP ones and a second in another GROUP 1 namely the VRC Australian Guineas.

However it is at stud where O’REILLY has really excelled. The facts are truly amazing and it is no wonder that his progeny are so eagerly sought. He was the Champion NZ Sire of 3yo’s 2002-03,2006-07.Champion Hong Kong sire 2007-08,Champion NZ Sire 2007-08 and Dewar Award Winner (combined earnings Australia and NZ) 2007-08 AND 2008-09.If the above achievements were not impressive enough O’REILLY cranked it up again by absolutely dominating the 2008-09 season.
