Purchased for $70,000 (PLUS GST) at the recent Magic Millions sales this cracking daughter of FLYING SPUR ticks all the boxes on both type and pedigree to be considered a worthy Investment for on and off the track duties. FLYING SPUR needs no introduction as a Stallion as he has been a Champion Stallion in Australia for many years. On the track he was a brilliant galloper and as a 2yo Won the Blue Diamond Prelude GROUP 3 and the STC Golden Slipper GROUP 1 as well as running second in the VATC Blue Diamond Stakes GROUP 1 and third in the VRC Sires Produce Stakes also GROUP 1.He was a most precocious 2yo and from 7 starts-Won three, placed second twice and recorded one third for $1,442,655.00 in stakes in his first year on the track. In his three year old year FLYING SPUR Won both the GROUP 1 AJC All Aged Stakes AND the VRC Australian Guineas and also Won the GROUP 2 STC Peter Pan Stakes. He was an exceptional galloper who retired with over $2 Million in prize money.

It is at stud, however where FLYING SPUR has really excelled and has been the Champion NZ Sire of 2yo’s in 2001,Champion Australian Sire of 2yo’s in 2007 and was the Champion Sire of Australia also in 2007.To date FLYING SPUR has Sired 84 Stakes Winners (40 Colts and 44 Fillies)including 12 GROUP 1 Winners of 17 GROUP 1 races.
