| LE BONSIR WINS AGAIN. (30th August 2011)
Progressive 4yo Le Bonsir made it 3 wins from 4 runs this time in by strolling in at Geelong on the Synthetic Friday 26th August. Starting from an inside draw Le Bonsir jumped safely (unlike his previous win where he missed the start but was still too good to score) and held the fence to lead. Jockey Craig Newitt was swinging on the son of Choisir at the turn and on the point of the turn extended to get a margin of 3 lengths and held that down the straight to score a very easy win. The time of 1.17.83 was just over 1 second outside the track record.Le Bonsir has progressed well through his grades and looks a most promising horse for his syndicate. He will now tackle city class and now heads to Sandown on the 14th September to contest a ratings 0-82 over 1400 meters.Le Bonsir’s record currently stands at 5 starts for 3 wins and a second for prize money of $26,900.00.He is definitely a horse worth following in town and is well up to Metropolitan Class. |
