Progressive Hussonet gelding Onpicalo proved his first up Seymour win was no fluke and in the process dented some aspirants for upcoming Spring glory by absolutely bolting in at Sandown on Wednesday 22nd August. Ridden to perfection by multiple GROUP 1 winning jockey Glen Boss Onpicalo jumped well and with no speed around was taken straight to the lead and from that point was rated absolutely perfectly by Bossy. On straightening it was clear that there was plenty left in the tank and revelling in the Heavy 9 going Onpicalo held his lead to win impressively by 2 lengths.Onpicalo is a genuine race horse that saves his best for race day and is an absolute pleasure to own as all he knows is how to try which takes you a long way in this game. His army of owners (some of which are first timers) are enjoying the ride of a life and he will be a horse that all owners will get immeasurable pleasure from going forward.Onpicalo has only had the two runs for two wins and his prize money currently stands at $31,500.00.Onpicalo will return to the city for his next assignment where “Black type” could be on the agenda.Onpicalo is a horse to be followed by all!
